Application and Admissions:
Application requirements for prospective freshman and transfer students include: application, $30 fee, official copies of high school transcripts, and SAT/ACT scores. Transfer students must also send college transcripts from all colleges or universities attended. Admission criteria for Florida students applying for undergraduate admission include: at least an ""A-/B+"" average in all academic subjects, at least 24 (composite) test score on the ACT or 1620 (total) on the SAT. Other factors considered include but are not limited to: essay, grade trends, class rank, and educational objectives.
Application requirements for prospective graduate students include: application, $30 fee, two copies of official transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended, supporting residency documentation (if applicable), and official GRE or GMAT test scores. Additional application materials and procedures may be required depending on the department. Admission criteria to FSU graduate programs can vary by department, however all applicants must possess, or be a candidate for a bachelor's degree (or its equivalent) from an institution with regional accreditation.
